MACSP’s 2022 Policy Summit will bring state and federal leadership together with Maine’s provider network to discuss emerging policy issues through in-depth discussion and presentations from a panel of experts. This is a great opportunity to network with Legislators and peer providers.

Maine’s New Rate Setting System – Through the passage of LD 1867 “An Act to Codify Mainecare Rate System Reform” Maine has adopted a new rate setting process. This session will offer an opportunity to learn about considerations for rate setting policy and stakeholder input.

Rebuilding Maine’s Direct Care Workforce – A panel discussion highlighting federal and state initiatives including market analysis, immigration reform and support for the New Mainer community, the push for a Standardized Occupational Classification for DSPs, and more.

Legislative Panel Discussion – Hear from State Legislators from both parties about the post-election political landscape, the upcoming 131st State Legislative Session, and perspectives on developing positive relationships and effective communications to further your message.
